What the Nicosia Day Tour involves…
This day tour starts in the heart of old town Nicosia where you’ll explore the green line – seeing the deserted houses and old streets of the last divided capital in the world. You’ll have the option to cross the border to the Turkish occupied North to explore and see some historical sites (Arabahmet Mosque, Buyuk Han, Saint Sophia Cathedral & Bandabuliya Market). Back on the south of the border we’ll enjoy a traditional Cypriot meze lunch and then you’ll have the choice of ending your day with the following… A fantastic Segway experience to investigate the old town further, learn all about the history of Cyprus and enjoy the thrill of Segway or the opportunity to head to Ledra Street for some time to shop, explore and visit the Leventis Museum. Participants must bring their passports if they would like to visit the occupied part of Nicosia. If crossing the border is not possible then this part of the tour will be replaced with another activity.
