About Us
The Cyprus Taste Tours team is made up of a group of local guides who have a genuine passion for food and wine. We’ve all chosen to do this as a hobby rather than a job and are all involved with Cyprus Taste Tours on a freelance, part-time basis. We do it because we enjoy meeting new people and love exploring the island. The team also has a brilliant friendship and hang out regularly. We make a serious effort to broaden and further our food and wine knowledge together. We have all completed wine courses, belong to food and wine / drinks clubs and associations, consistently take part in food and drink seminars, organise our own team development events, take part in food and wine tours during our travels, participate in online experiences and conferences related to food and drinks – the list goes on and on. Joining Our Team
We’re looking for people who are interested in becoming part of a fun team, have a passion for exploring Cyprus and meeting new people for the fun of it! Applicants must want to take part on a long-term basis, should be flexible and available at short notice on a part-time schedule of 1-3 full days per week including some weekends. They must also be willing to take part in extensive training (which can take time!) on a voluntary basis before taking on tours independently. This role generally suits someone who works freelance, doing their own thing, has control over their hours and has a primary source of income established. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to get away from their desk a couple of days a week, eat great food and meet fantastic people!
